Mom Tri's Restaurants in Phuket Appoint Thailand's First Maître Cuisinier de France
Mom Tri's Restaurants have just set a benchmark for the finest cuisine in Phuket. Maître Cuisinier de France Jean-Noël Lumineau has been appointed by M.L. Tri Devakul to oversee his four restaurants in Phuket: Mom Tri's Kitchen at Villa Royale, The new Mom Tri's Oasis tapas bar and restaurant, The Boathouse Wine & Grill and Mom Tri's Boathouse Regatta at the Royal Phuket Marina.
In the past 8 years, Chef Lumineau has visited Phuket yearly in January to act as a guest chef at Mom Tri's Boathouse but he has now decided to relocate here and join Mom Tri’s team permanently.

NASA high technology to sleep in safety and comfort
Mom Tri Villa Royale has signed an agreement with a professional cleaning company using NASA technology to eliminate even the smallest traces of bacteria, viruses, and germs in the rooms.
Allergy-prone guests especially, will be pleased to have this assurance that their safety and welfare come first and a comfortable stay is guaranteed in the regularly treated rooms.

A Passion for Fire from November 30, 2007
In the spirit of the "Arts Fest", organized at the Villa Royale in the past, guests and visitors to Mom Tri’s Villa Royale were treated to the Ceramic Art Exhibition
"A Passion for Fire," by world renowned American artists Tom Radca and Brenda Mc Mahon in December 2007.
The month-long exhibition kicked off in style with a grand party with music, a spectacular light show and a dramatic Thai Dance staged in the hotel’s garden.
Phuket VIP Khun Runjuan Tongrut, Assistant Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Southern Office Region 4, gave a warm, welcoming speech and opened the exhibition of the exceptional ceramic artworks shipped in from the United States for the occasion.

Wine Tasting November 09, 2007
In recognition of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2007 Mom Tri’s Villa Royale received last August, the biggest wine distributor in Phuket, The Wine Gallery, selected Mom Tri’s Villa Royale as the location for a Wine Tasting on the 9th of November.
Amongst the wines on offer were the superb Fox Creek Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from Australia appreciated by the large number of wine lovers from all over the island attending the wine tasting.

Vadim Tchijik, Violin Concert on December 15, 2007
Thanks to the co-operation of Mom Tri’s Hotels, the Boathouse and Villa Royale, and Alliance Française an extraordinary violin concert was staged at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale’s Concert Hall. Over a hundred Guests were treated to a recital by violin virtuoso Vadim Tchijik, talented Professor of Violin at Paris Conservatories, who enchanted the audience with his brilliant rendition of Bach, Paganini and Ysaÿe. The evening ended in sublime style with a
delightful dinner at Mom Tri’s Kitchen.
Christmas 2007 December 26, 2007
To celebrate the special evening in style, Mom Tri’s Villa Royale was beautifully decorated to create a festive Christmas ambience. The Villa’s Guests and visitors enjoyed a welcome cocktail party on the lawn and an ensuing scrumptious Christmas Dinner from Mom Tri’s Kitchen.Santa dropped in for a surprise visit to give all children a Christmas present.
New Year’s Party 2008 December 31, 2007
Mom Tri’s Kitchen hosted a lavish New Year’s Gala. The grounds of the Villa were adorned with pristine white roses to express the wish for happiness, joy, purity and hope for all in the coming year.
All staff joined in the festivities dressed as pirates according to the theme of the evening and General Manager Khun Dan stole the show in the spirited performance of Mom Tri’s Villa Royale’s Team.
Guests and staff gathered for the final count-down to the New Year, after which the party ended spectacularly with an amazing fireworks display. |

"Four Hands" Fourmet dinner on January 24th, 2008
Mom Tri’s Villa Royale started 2008 with a much anticipated gourmet dinner with Michelin Star Chef Henri Charvet proprietor of Au Comte de Gascogne, Boulogne, France.
Michelin Star Chef Henri Charvet joined Mom Tri Kitchen’s Chef Sura Putta to prepare an exceptional dinner for selected Guests.
The event started with a Champagne Reception which was followed by a luscious 8-course menu which included duck foie gras, creamy consommé, grilled scallops with fresh ginger and an extraordinary Dessert Finale of delicate biscuit flavoured with praline and seasonal tropical fruit.
The creative dishes matched perfectly with the carefully chosen wine from Mom Tri’s award-winning Wine Cellar. Mom Tri’s Kitchen was distinguished with The Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence last year for the sixth consecutive year which put Mom Tri’s firmly on the map for world renowned wines.
Andaman Spa Invitation 2007 at Central Festival Phuket on January 24-27, 2008
Mom Tri’s Spa Royale had a booth at the Andaman Spa Invitation 2007 in January to introduce the choice of new, luxurious spa treatments and organic products now available at the Villa Royale. To provide more privacy and comfort to the spa visitors the recently refurbished spa has two new spa suites and the reception counter has been moved to the ground floor. There was avid interest in the new spa facilities of the Villa Royale from the many visitors to the fair; even the Vice Governor of Phuket made a stop at the booth during his visit to the event. |
