Classical Music Concert at Villa Royale
On January 30, 2012 Villa Royale will proudly welcome back HE Admiral Mom Luang Usni Pramoj and his sting quartet for a classical music concert. He first played at Villa Royale over 20 years ago.
ML Usni will be accompanied by , Tasana Nagavajara on violin,
Siripong Tiptan on violin and Kittikhun Sodprasert on violoncello
The string quartet will perform:
Antonin Dvorak: String Quartet Op.96 in F major "American"M.L.Usni Pramoj:String Quartet No.2

Beauty Spa Kitchen By Su-Mei Yu
Guest at Villa Royale were treated to a workshop by Su-mei demonstrating alternative
use of ingredients easily found in the kitchen to make natural beauty and health treatments.
Su-Mei is a personal friend of Mom Tri and the author of The Elements of Life, A contemporary Guide to Thai Recipes and Traditions for Healthier living.
She resides in America but grew up in Bangkok and owns Thai restaurants in California.

Guests and residents were delighted by this rare event and extraordinary performance at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale
In a celebration of classical music and culture H.E. Adm. M.L. Usni Pramoj, personally invited by Mom Tri came to Phuket to perform at Villa Royale, continuing the tradition of the Baan Kata Arts Festival, a celebration of art and cultural events at Villa Royale.
Although he was never formally educated in music H.E. Admiral M.L. Usni Pramoj has become an accomplished musician and composer including being the co-founder of the Bangkok Symphony and has played jazz together with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. |

Mom Tri invited up and coming Austrian chef Didi Maier to prepare an exquisite 7-course dinner and invited his close friends and family.
Didi Maier is the head chef at the Relais & Chateaux and 2 Michelin-Star restaurant Johanna Maier & Sons at the Hubertus Hotel in Filzmoos, Austria. In 2009 he was presented with the ‘Newcomer Award’ honouring him as the best new young chef in Austria.
The 7-course dinner consisted of traditional Austrian cuisine which he added his own flavors and tastes. His philosophy for the evenings dinner was “food must be a little bit fun. I want people to think about the textures and tastes. While I believe that the basic menu should be traditional, I added some European, Thai and molecular influences.”
Invited guests included author William Warren and Dutch painters, Leo Musch and Dineke Derksen. All guests agreed that it was a huge success and definitely and unforgettable meal.

 On 11th February 2010 Mom Tri’s Villa Royale welcomed HRH Prince Consort of Denmark. Prince Henrik of was greeted at the airport by Mom Tri’s Villa Royale General Manager Adisak Pitakrojananont.
HRH was the personal Guest of Mom Luang Tri Devakul (better known as Mom Tri) and stayed at his private property, Villa Terra Cotta, adjacent to and managed by Villa Royale.
To the delight of many Scandinavian tourists Prince Henrik could be seen dining at Mom Tri’s Kitchen, Mom Tri’s Oasis and Mom Tri’s Boathouse restaurants on several occasions.
Additionally Mom Tri hosted a dinner at Mom Tri’s Kitchen for the prince on February 18th.

Ani Phyo Makes Baja Fresh Taco Boats at Mom Tri's Villa Royale Workshop in Phuket Thailand
Mom Tri’s Villa Royale hosted celebrity chef and award wining author Ani Phyo. The demonstration generated an overwhelming response and participants sampled seven delicious, healthy, raw food recipes including a mango cobbler, tom yum inspired soup and Baja fresh taco boats.. Mom Tri’s Villa Royale celebrated the launch of their new Royale Wing Suites on November 7th with a large cocktail party . Hotel guests, Phuket residents, family, friends, writers, architects and designers were amongst the crowd. The new suite consists of nine modern contemporary rooms with sea views and measuring 65 sqm.

"Four Hands" Fourmet dinner on January 24th, 2008
Mom Tri’s Villa Royale started 2008 with a much anticipated gourmet dinner with Michelin Star Chef Henri Charvet proprietor of Au Comte de Gascogne, Boulogne, France.
Michelin Star Chef Henri Charvet joined Mom Tri Kitchen’s Chef Sura Putta to prepare an exceptional dinner for selected Guests.
The event started with a Champagne Reception which was followed by a luscious 8-course menu which included duck foie gras, creamy consommé, grilled scallops with fresh ginger and an extraordinary Dessert Finale of delicate biscuit flavoured with praline and seasonal tropical fruit.
The creative dishes matched perfectly with the carefully chosen wine from Mom Tri’s award-winning Wine Cellar. Mom Tri’s Kitchen was distinguished with The Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence last year for the sixth consecutive year which put Mom Tri’s firmly on the map for world renowned wines. |

NASA high technology to sleep in safety and comfort
Mom Tri Villa Royale has signed an agreement with a professional cleaning company using NASA technology to eliminate even the smallest traces of bacteria, viruses, and germs in the rooms.
Allergy-prone guests especially, will be pleased to have this assurance that their safety and welfare come first and a comfortable stay is guaranteed in the regularly treated rooms.

Vadim Tchijik, Violin Concert on December 15, 2007
Thanks to the co-operation of Mom Tri’s Hotels, the Boathouse and Villa Royale, and Alliance Française an extraordinary violin concert was staged at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale’s Concert Hall. Over a hundred Guests were treated to a recital by violin virtuoso Vadim Tchijik, talented Professor of Violin at Paris Conservatories, who enchanted the audience with his brilliant rendition of Bach, Paganini and Ysaÿe. The evening ended in sublime style with a
delightful dinner at Mom Tri’s Kitchen. |
